Yechezkel (Chez) Goldberg, 41, was killed in the terrorist attack on the Jerusalem #19 bus on January 29, 2004. Chezi was a special person whose love for Am Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael knew no bounds. He had the perfect balance of being active in the community and being a devoted family man. He was also known for his positive energy, sense of humor and commitment to Torah. Chezi's work with youth-at-risk was legendary. He was a wonderful and caring professional, a 'lifeline' for families having difficulties. As a popular columnist for The Jewish Press and other forums, Chezi wrote straight from his heart. In a moving article following a terrorist attack in 2001, Chezi said: 'If you don't cry, who will?' A native of Toronto who made aliyah from Brooklyn with his family in 1993, Chezi is survived by his wife, Shifra, seven children, his mother and five siblings.
