AACI Memorial Ceremony

AACI commemorates the sacrifice of North Americans who have given their lives in Israel’s military operations or in acts of terror, especially in the current ongoing war. AACI’s annual memorial ceremony will be conducted in English and take place on May 9th, at 17:30 at KKL Rabin Forest near Sha’ar Hagai. Beginning at 17:00, there will be a tour and explanation of the memorial site. We will hear remarks from honored guests US Ambassador Jack Lew and Canadian Ambassador Lisa Stadelbauer. Joseph Gitler, the founder of Leket Israel, and the father-in-law of David Schwartz z”l will be the keynote speaker. Our program will include hearing from bereaved families who have lost their loved ones since October 7th. Bus transportation to the event, as well as full day tour opportunities are available. If you are unable to be with us in person, the event will be livestreamed around the world. We will also have a 10 minute edited video available for those who would like to include us in their Yom Hazikaron ceremony on May 11th. The livestream and the 10 minute video will be available here and on our Facebook page - AACI Jerusalem. We are continuously working to gather information about the fallen.
