Moshe Pinchas Goldberg was born in New York on December 29, 1947 to Menachem and Deborah. In 1958 his family made aliya and settled in Nahariya where he completed his elementary school studies. In 1967 he completed his engineering studies at 'Yad Natan' near Akko.
He was drafted in July 1967 and served in Bet Shean during 1968. In 1969 he was sent to the Suez Canal as a mechanic and there he died, while on duty, on September 9, 1969. He was buried in the Military Cemetery in Nahariya.
