Micha Goldman, son of Janet and Bernard Goldman, was born on November 4, 1953, on Kibbutz Gadot. He attended school at Beit HaShita.
Micha was drafted into the IDF in November 1971 and volunteered for the Armored Corps. During the Yom Kippur War, his unit was sent to the Sinai front to engage Egyptian forces. On the night of October 16, 1973, during the battle near the Chinese Farm, his tank fell into a trench and was damaged. While seeking repairs, the tank came under enemy fire and was hit. Micha was seriously wounded and later died of his injuries.
He was buried at Beit HaShita and was survived by his parents, his brother, and his sister.
