Cindy, a 67 year-old American-Israel ,was killed, together with her 66 year-old Israeli husband Igal, by Hamas terrorists while trying to hide in their safe room in their home in Kfar Aza. Cindy, originally from Minnesota came to Israel in the 1970s, alone to volunteer on a kibbutz, where she met her partner Yigal and stated a family together. She recently retired from her job as the legendary coordinator of the Department of Administration and Public Policy at Sapir College.
She is said to have been curious, witty, punctual, and loved to learn, sing, and travel the world.
On October 7, 2023, she was murdered in her home with her husband Yigal when terrorists broke into their home in the village of Gaza. She was 67 years old. She left behind three daughters, grandchildren, a mother, and brothers.
