Avraham Abba Fisher was born on April 21, 1971 in Brooklyn, NY to Bella and Noory. Three years later the family made aliya and moved to Kiron. Avi studied in religious schools in Kiron, Givat Shmuel and Ramat Gan. He was an active member and counselor in Bnei Akiva.
In July 1990 he was drafted into the IDF and served in the Engineers Corps. He volunteered for the bomb disposal unit and became a unit officer. When he completed his compulsory service in 1993 he joined the regular army.
On August 19, 1993 Avi was fatally wounded in South Lebanon. He was buried in the military cemetery in Segula, Petach Tikva.
