Taylor Force was born in Lubbock, Texas to Stuart and Robbi Force and grew up active in scouting, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. He attended high school at the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell before graduating from West Point Military Academy in 2009 with a degree in engineering and industrial management, where he also competed on the ski team. Taylor served as a U.S. Army officer in Iraq and Afghanistan from 2010 to 2013 before pursuing an MBA at Vanderbilt University. In March 2016, while visiting Israel on a school-sponsored trip focused on global entrepreneurship, Taylor was fatally stabbed in a terrorist attack near Jaffa Port. He is survived by his parents and his sister Kristen Ann, and is remembered for his service, leadership, and commitment to bridging cultures.
