Shmuel Taubenfeld of New Square, NY, and his mother Goldie were tragically killed in the No. 2 bus suicide bombing in Jerusalem’s Beit Yisrael neighborhood on August 19, 2003, after visiting the Kotel. The family had come to Israel to attend a family wedding. Shmuel was only five months old at the time of his death. He was laid to rest alongside his mother in Jerusalem, where their memory continues to be cherished.
