Shalom 'Shuli' Har-Melech was born on October 13, 1978 to Moshe and Tzippora. Shuli grew up and studied on Kochav Hashachar. He served as a paramedic in the IDF, as part of the Hesder program. In 2001 he married Limor and they moved to Homesh where Shuli founded a Yeshiva. He taught in Kedumim and was a Hatzala volunteer ambulance driver and medic.
On August 29, 2003 Shuli was shot to death by terrorists near his parents' home in Kochav HaShachar . His wife, Limor, was seriously injured and subsequently had a premature baby daughter by Caesarean section. He also leaves a 14-month old son.
