**Shalom (Shuli) Har-Melech, son of Tzipporah and Moshe, was born on October 13, 1978, and raised in Kochav HaShahar in the Binyamin Region.**
After high school, he served in the IDF as an emergency medical technician through the Hesder Yeshiva program. Shuli married Limor on Lag B’Omer 2003, and the couple moved to Homesh in the Northern Shomron shortly afterward. They had one son and were expecting a daughter.
Dedicated to Torah and community, Shuli founded the new yeshiva in Homesh and volunteered as a medic and ambulance driver for Hatzalah.
On Friday morning, August 29, 2003, while returning to Homesh after dropping off their son in Kochav HaShahar, the couple was ambushed by terrorists on the Alon Road. Shuli was killed instantly. Limor, seven months pregnant, was critically wounded and gave birth to their daughter several hours later.
