Eliyahu Moshe (Eli Mo), made aliya, with his family in 2005 and settled in Beit Shemesh. Attended the Ahavat Yisrael elementary school and yeshivah high school. After graduating, joined the Shalavim Yeshivah's Hesder program. Inducted into the IDF in March 2023.
Being bilingual, he became a bridge between the Israeli and American programs in the Hesder program.
At yeshivah, a friend asked him if becoming a combat soldier would effect religiosity and lower his commitment to Torah and mitzvot, Eli Mo's reply. "If you know Torah is your life, it has nothing to do with the army. If you know Torah is your life, if you have those core values, that's what will define whether you're going to be observant, whether in the army or anywhere else."
