Avraham Feinman was born in the US on March 1, 1953 to Daniel and Naomi. A few months later he made aliya with his family. Avi studied at the Yefe Nof Elementary School in Jerusalem , at the Ramat Sharon Elementary School and at the Sharon High School.
He was drafted into the IDF in August 1971 and after his three years of compulsory service he joined the regular army. Avi fought with distinction in the Yom Kippur War, was wounded and returned to his unit after he recovered.
On December 17, 1974 Avi was injured in a training accident and died of his injuries. He was buried in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery.
