Amnon Pomerantz, 46, son of Tzipora and Moshe, was lynched at El Burej in Gaza, on Rosh HaShanah, Sept. 20, 1990. He had accidentally entered on his way to take the place of a friend in the reserves. He was married to a former American, Cynthia Raskin, with whom he had a son, Gidon, who was only three months old at the time of his father's death.
