Adi Neeman, son of Amitai and Chana, was born in New York on January 31, 1964. When he was one year old, the family made aliyah and settled in Tel Aviv.

He was drafted into the IDF in February 1982 and served in the Army Entertainment Corps as Commander of the Military Band. He saw his future in the film industry as a performer, director, and creator.
On the evening of December 3, 1982, he came home from his service and died during the night. He was buried in the Kiryat Shaul Cemetery in Tel Aviv and was survived by his parents and sister. After his death, his family received the “Kinnor David” award.
