Despite having no formal college education, he built a successful life through tireless work, often putting in fifteen-hour days. His natural charisma and determination propelled him to lead a stone company in Los Angeles, open kosher restaurants in the San Fernando Valley, and pursue his passion for designing luxury homes. Beyond his business success, Avi was known for his boundless warmth and generosity. He radiated love for people, whether family, friends, or strangers, and made a deep impact on everyone he met. He cherished life’s simple joys such as flowers, music, cologne, travel, museums, and especially food, which for him symbolized affection and connection. Avi was a beloved figure in the Jewish community and beyond, known as a legend, a teacher of life, a second father, and a lifelong friend.
