Yael Botwin, daughter of Mordechai Z'L and Julie, was born on March 13, 1983 in Claremont CA. She made aliya with her parents, two sisters and grandmother in 1988 . She attended the Yehuda Halevi elementery School in Jerusalem.
On September 4, 1997 she was one of four people killed in the Ben Yehuda Mall suicide bombing in Jerusalem. She was fourteen years old and had just begun ninth grade at the Omanuyot High School.
