Shlomo Meiri was born on May 15, 1967, in Pennsylvania to Naftali and Ziona. When he was 6 years old (1973), the family made aliya and settled in Bat Yam. Shlomi began his education in the religious elementary school Tachkamoni in Bat Yam and then continued in the Kiryat Noar Yeshiva High School in Jerusalem.
He was drafted into the IDF in August 1985. On July 31, 1988, he fell in the line of duty and was buried in the military cemetery in Holon.
