Leon (Aryeh) Rokach was born on October 15, 1958 in the United States to Shimon and Aviva. In 1968 the family made aliya and Leon attended elementary school in Savyon and then Municipal High School # 9 in Yad Eliahu. He was a member of the Scouts Youth Movement and later a counselor.
Leon was drafted into the IDF in November 1976 and served in the Armored Corps. He was killed in the line of duty on February 7, 1980 on the way to Lebanon.
