Gail Belkin was born on August 15, 1948 to Cyril and Sylvia Bernstein. She made aliya in 1987 from South Africa with her two older children and lived in Hod Hasharon. In 1995 she married former American Larry Belkin. On March 4, 1996 she was killed while shopping for a wedding dress for her daughter in the Dizengoff Center terrorist bombing. Her mother, Sylvia Bernstein was also killed in the same bombing.
