Cpl. Eliasaf Boros was born in New York in September 19, 1982 to Yedidya and Yehudit, both Israelis who had spent 11 and 13 years respectively in the US. The family made aliyah in 1984 and Eliasaf studied in a religious elementary school and then in the Bnei Akiva Yeshiva.
Eliasaf lived in Ra'anana and was one of five soldiers killed on April 4, 2001 when their armored personnel carrier (APC) overturned near Pnei Hever, south east of Hevron, on their way to secure the area in preparation for the visit of Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer. The five soldiers were riding on top of the vehicle and were crushed when it overturned.
He was buried in the military cemetery in Ra'anana.
