Carol was born in the United States in 1953 and immigrated to Israel at the age of 20. She built her life on Kibbutz Nir Oz, where she lived a simple family life with her husband Freddy, who passed away about twenty years ago. A dedicated nurse before her retirement, Carol was known for her warmth and kindness. On October 7, 2023, she was murdered in her home along with her beloved dog Charlie. Her son Jonathan, daughter-in-law Tamar, and their three young children—six-year-old twins Arbel and Shahar and four-year-old Omar—were also murdered by Hamas terrorists in their home compound. She was 70 years old.
