Alan Beer, 47, originally from Cleveland, was killed on June 11, 2003 in the bus 14A suicide bombing in Jerusalem while on his way home from a shivah call in the north. Alan always brightened up his surroundings with his stories and had a religious soul. He was a volunteer and much-loved person in his Baka neighborhood of Jerusalem. He is survived by his mother, two sisters and a brother.
