Naama Henkin grew up in the Samaria community of Peduel, the daughter of Hila and Chanan Armoni. She was a graduate of Emunah College of Art and Design and earned a degree from the Open University. A successful graphic designer with her own studio, Naama also wrote poetry and was known for her creativity and thoughtful nature. In January 2014, she raised a poignant question on a Facebook mothers' forum about the need for life insurance and wills given the security situation in Israel. On October 1, 2015, while returning home with her family during Chol Hamoed Sukkot, Naama and her husband Eitam were murdered in a terrorist shooting attack, leaving behind their four young children who were miraculously unharmed. Naama and Eitam, remembered as a deeply devoted and humble couple, were laid to rest at Har HaMenuchot Cemetery in Jerusalem. Naama is survived by her parents, siblings, and her children Matah Hillel, Nitzan Yitzchak, Neta Eliezer, and Itamar.
