Life Story

Reserve Sergeant Major David Schwartz was 26 years old and a resident of Elazar, the husband of Meital and the son of Sara and Yair. He was a combat soldier in the 8219th engineering battalion, of the 551st Hatzei Ha’esh (Arrows of Fire) Brigade, 8291st Combat Engineering Battalion. He was killed by anti-tank fire in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip. He was living in Rehovot and studying to be a lawyer at the Reichman University. He is remembered as being serious about his religious devotion and Torah studies. He was buried at the Kfar Etzion Cemetery and is survived by his wife and parents.
