Tamar Sarah Kedem Siman Tov was murdered by Hamas terrorist in Kibbutz Nir Oz together with her husband Yehonatan (Johnny) their, twin daughters Arbel and Shahar (age 6) and son Omer (age 4), during the massacre on 7 October 2023. Her mother-in-law, Carol, was also killed in the attack. Tamar led numerous projects in culture and education in the western Negev and was involved in local politics.
