Yonadav Haim Hirshfeld was born on May 26, 1989 to Zemach Yehuda and Elisheva.
The family, including 13 children, lived on Kochav Hashachar. Yonadav completed his studies at Yeshiva L'Zeirim and began studying at Yeshivat Merkaz Harav.
On March 6, 2008 a terrorist entered Yeshivat Merkaz Harav in Jerusalem and began shooting. Among the eight students killed was Yonadav, then 19 year old.
