Shoshana 'Shoshi' Ben-Yishai, 16, came on aliyah with her family 1989 from Kew Garden Hills, New York. On November 4, 2001, she was traveling from school in Neve Yaacov to her home in Betar Illit when a terrorist attacked the bus killing Shoshana and another teenager. She was a friendly smiling girl who enjoyed learning and loved to help others. She was considered a role model for her classmates. She is survived by her parents, Yitzhak and Miriam, and five younger siblings.
