Life Story

Sgt. Tamar Ben-Eliahu, 20, was killed on June 11, 2003 in the bus 14A bombing. Tamar was a counselor in the Moshav Youth Movement and was recruited by the army as an education NCO, serving as a guide to soldiers visiting the kotel and Old City of Jerusalem. She was often described as looking like an angel. Tamar is survived by her parents, a sister and two brothers and three grandparents. Her grandmother Nechama Ben-Eliahu was an active member of AACI.
