Morris (Moish) Eisenstadt was born on July 11, 1914 in Brooklyn, NY to Zeev and Chana. Most of his life, Morris was employed in private security work, but he also owned a candy store, which he ran with his wife Fay.
In 1979, after retiring, Morris and Fay made aliya, following their youngest daughter Rita who had been living in Israel since 1968. Morris volunteered at Mishmar Haezrachi (Civil Guard) and at the Meir Hospital, becoming very involved in community affairs in Kfar Saba, where he lived.
On February 25, 1994 Morris was sitting on a bench in a public garden in Kfar Saba, reading, when he was struck from behind by a terrorist with an ax. He was 79 when he died.
