Joseph (Yosef) Gitarts was killed by an anti-tank missile in the southern Gaza Strip. Joseph, 25 years old, made Aliyah from Russia at the age of 13. He was a second-year BSc Computer Science student at Reichman University International School, investing his passion and intellect in shaping the future through technology. Joseph valiantly served in the 7029th Armored Battalion within the esteemed “Ram” formation (179), a testament to his dedication and commitment to safeguarding his nation. In recent years, he conducted scientific work in the field of medicine and computer science, and in the past year, he began developing a startup in the field.
