Master Sgt. (res.) Dov Moshe Kogan, 32, from Nov settlement in Ramat Hagolan, died during intense combat in Gaza on November 9. He was in an advanced degree program at Technion and served as a combat soldier in the elite Shaldag Special Force Unit of the Commando Brigade in his reserves service. He left behind his American wife Shaked of eight years and three young children. Dov is remembered for his deep love for his family, friends, and the Golan Heights.
