Daniel was born in 1928 in New York to Esther and Bachor. He made Aliyah with his parents in 1935 and studied at the Amami School in Jerusalem. He was enlisted in the IDF in 1945. when the war broke out in 1948 he received instructions to return to the US as he was an American citizen, but he remained in Israel. He was a machine gunner and was killed in battle near Neveh Yaacov on 16 of May.
